Karin Betz, Bojana Damnjanovic, Nina Dierdorf, Matthias Erhardt, Martin Möckel are the new fellowship students of the Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology with the starting date October 1st. Julia Häfner, Johannes Holert, Benjamin Scheinhardt, Isabelle Seemann and Matthias Weng already entered the graduate school during the summer semester.

Der Senat der Universität Konstanz hat Prof. Dr. Andreas Marx zum neuen Prorektor für Forschung gewählt. Er tritt sein Amt zum 1. September 2010 an. Der Professor für Organische und Zelluläre Chemie und Sprecher der Graduiertenschule Chemische Biologie wurde am heutigen Mittwoch, 21. Juli, von den 25 anwesenden Senatsmitgliedern einstimmig zum Nachfolger von Prof. Dr. Sabine Sonnentag gewählt, die zum Wintersemester 2010/2011 an die Universität Mannheim wechselt.

Two highlights in a single event! Reception for the Ph.D. students and start of KoRS-CB Seminars

Holger Bußkamp and Stephan Hacker are the first Ph.D. students of the Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology who entered the Konstanz Fast Track system. As outstanding students of the Master courses at the Konstanz Department of Chemistry they were able to apply to embark on the doctoral thesis in the graduate school without performing a Master Thesis.
