Biologists from Konstanz involved in decoding the genome of an Antarctic alga and thus in gaining new insight into the alga's adaptation to polar life.
The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology invites applications for Fellowships for PhD Students from highly motivated and enthusiastic young researchers with a keen interest in interdisciplinary topics and with an excellent degree (Master or Diploma) in Biology, Chemistry, Computational Life Science, or related areas.
The 2016 prize from the Dr. Karl Helmut Eberle-Stiftung, a foundation supporting innovative research, will provide 300,000 euros to the University of Konstanz in 2016.
